Spend a day in the beautiful surrounds of Domaine Epis Vineyard Woodend, with a long lunch prepared by La Bonta Chef Tim Austin.
Tim will bring his re-imagined Italian banquet right to you in the vineyard for a meal paired with the wines of one of the Macedon Ranges best.
Our host Winemaker Alec Epis will regale you with tales of his old haunt Kalgoorlie, the vineyard and, of course his beloved Essendon Football Club.
The meal will be a feast of local produce – think slow-cooked Tuki lamb or McIvor Pork with potato gnocchi – served with the exceptional chardonnay, pinot noir and cabernet that Alec is famous for. There may even be some special treats made by Tim and Alec together, inspired by Alec’s home town of Bergamo.
